PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Apr. 22)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team fell by a score of 19-1 in their 2025 season finale at Chatham on Tuesday night.
The Bearcats (3-12, 1-8 PAC) were outscored 11-1 by the Cougars (8-6, 6-2 PAC) in the first half, before Chatham shutout the Bearcats in the second half, outscoring them 8-0.
Katie Smith scored the lone goal of the game for the Bearcats.
Alexandria Votovich led SVC with three ground balls and one caused turnover in the loss.Â
Louisa Zamborsky,
Addy Carbaugh, and Smith all scooped up two ground balls, while
Gabby Salandro added one ground ball pickup for SVC in the loss as well. Zamborsky took the loss in net, making 10 saves for Saint Vincent.
Saint Vincent was out shot 36-7 in the game. Ground balls were 24-14 in favor of Chatham as well.Â
The Bearcats conclude the season with a 3-12 overall record and 1-8 mark in Presidents Athletic Conference play.
