NEW ORLEANS, La. (Jan. 30)- The Saint Vincent men's and women's cross country teams were honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches for their academic success. Additionally, the Bearcats cross country program had two individual student-athletes who also earned the USTFCCCA All-Academic status as well.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction from the USTFCCCA, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

Jordan Raynor earned the individual award for the Bearcats.
Both the men's and women's teams were honored as a team for their academic success as well. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
The Saint Vincent men's team achieved a 3.72 GPA, while the women's team achieved a GPA of 3.79.
