WASHINGTON, Pa. (Apr. 15)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team fell by a score of 22-3 at Washington and Jefferson on Wednesday evening.
W&J held a 14-1 lead at the half, before outscoring Saint Vincent 6-2 in the second half to hand the Bearcats the Presidents Athletic Conference defeat.
Carolina Walters led Saint Vincent with three points, all three of which came on assists.
Melanie Seefeldt scored two of the Bearcats three goals, while
Chloe Herring scored once for Saint Vincent as well.
Herring also totaled three ground balls, while
Louisa Zamborsky and
Ava Baeslach both scooped up two ground balls for the Bearcats.
Cassidy Rega made four saves in net for the Bearcats.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, April 18 with a home PAC matchup against Hiram. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at UPMC Field with senior day festivities taking place prior to the game.
