WASHINGTON, Pa. (Apr. 28)- The Saint Vincent women's lacrosse season came to a close after a 21-4 loss to Washington and Jefferson in the Presidents Athletic Conference Semifinals on Tuesday evening in Washington.
The Bearcats kept it close after a quarter of play as they trailed by a score of 3-0. However, the Presidents went on to outscore the Bearcats by an 18-4 margin the rest of the way.
Valeria Hurtado led Saint Vincent with three goals in the loss.
Katie Smith added a goal, while
MaryKatherine New,
Melanie Seefeldt, and
Carolina Walters all recorded assists for the Bearcats.Â
Chloe Herring scooped up three ground balls and a draw control and
Cassidy Rega made 10 saves in goal for Saint Vincent as well.
The Bearcats conclude their season with an 8-7 overall record.
