GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 24)- Four Saint Vincent women's cross country and track & field student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, announced by the CSC yesterday afternoon.
Senior
Lily Murphy along with junior
Caroline Kozera, and sophomores
Grace Neubert and
Amanda Kane all earned the award for the Bearcats.
To be eligible for the award you must meet the following requirements:
- Cross Country - Top-50 individual performance at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year
- Track - Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)
- Must be at least a sophomore academically
- Must obtain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA
Murphy finished 20th in the 1500-meter run at the AARTFC Championships, racing a time of 4:56.06. Kozera finished 27th in the 100-meter hurdles, racing a time of 15.87 seconds.
Kane raced a leg on the Bearcats 19th place 4x100 relay team and Neubert finished 6th in the 5K, racing a time of 17:48.14 for the Bearcats at the AARTFC Championship as well.
