RICHMOND, Va. (July 9)- The Saint Vincent College men's and women's swimming team's have been named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the spring 2026 semester.
To qualify for this accolade, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the spring 2026 semester. The Bearcat men and women, under the guidance of veteran Head Coach
Josh Gurekovich ranked among the top NCAA Division III institutions in grade point average. The men's team compiled a GPA of 3.08, while the women's GPA was an impressive 3.59.
Saint Vincent is one of four Presidents' Athletic Conference teams to earn the honor.
"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."
