TRAFFORD, Pa. (Sept. 21- Saint Vincent junior women's soccer goalkeeper Rilyn Warner was named the Presidents Athletic Conference women's soccer defensive player of the week.

Warner went 1-0-1 in goal for the Bearcats after she recorded consecutive shutouts against Saint Francis and then No. 20 Grove City, making nine saves over the course of the two matches. The junior made six saves in the Bearcats' 3-0 win at Saint Francis, before adding three more saves in SVC's 0-0 draw against Grove City.

The two clean sheets allowed Warner to set the Saint Vincent program record with her 21 career shutouts.

Warner and the Bearcats return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, September 22 with a road non-conference matchup at Notre Dame College of Maryland. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Maryland.
