KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 22)- For the second time in program history the Saint Vincent women's soccer team earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches Region VII rankings.

Led by fifth year Head Coach Bryan Butler, the Bearcats were ranked seventh in the first regional poll of the season. The ranking is the Bearcats highest ranking in their program's history as last season they enetered the poll for the first time in the eighth spot.

The Bearcats have gotten off to a hot start, compiling a 5-1-1 record and 0-0-1 record in the PAC. Saint Vincent has outscored their opponents by a 24-3 margin and have recorded five shutouts in their first seven games. Saint Vincent's lone tie of the season came in a battle against nationally ranked Grove City College in the Bearcats PAC opener this past Saturday.

Senior Emma Koller leads the Bearcats with 18 points (eight goals, two assists), while junior Rilyn Warner has earned four shutouts in goal, becoming the All-Time leader in shutouts in Saint Vincent's program history. Sophomore transfer Riley Kerr has been a bright spot for the Bearcats as well, scoring four goals, while dishing out two assists.

Saint Vincent looks to keep their hot start to the season alive as they take on Washington and Jefferson in a Presidents Athletic Conference matchup on Friday, September 25. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at UPMC Field in Latrobe on Friday night.
