2017: Appeared in five games during his first season with the Green and Gold. Recorded four tackles in a loss at Thomas More.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two sport athlete at nearby Greater Latrobe High School, competing in both football and wrestling. Earned All-Conference honors in football. Claimed a WPIAL wrestling championship at heavyweight. 

PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Mary Mears. Majoring in Business Economics.
