2021: Second Team All-PAC... Team co-captain... Started all 11 games, finishing with 61 tackles, including 12.5 TFLs and 7.0 sacks... the 7.0 sacks ranked second in the PAC and are the second-most in a single season in team history... the 12.5 TFLs ranked third in the conference and fourth in team history... will graduate with 12.0 career sacks to rank third in team history... recorded 4.0 TFLs, including 2.0 sacks,  in season-opening win at Bluffton....made seven tackles, and 2.0 TFLs, vs. Geneva... totaled eight tackles, including 1.5 TFLs and a half sack, in win at Thiel... credited with a half sack in win over Case Western Reserve... picked up 2.0 quarterback sacks, while totaling four tackles, against Grove City... had 10 tackles, including 1.5 TFLs and a sack, at Westminster... recorded 1.5 sacks in home finale against Bethany... recorded a team-leading 10 tackles, including 1.5 TFLs, in ECAC James Lynah Bowl vs. FDU-Florham. 

2020-21: Selected as team's Defensive MVP... named Second Team All-PAC at linebacker... member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll... started all four games during spring season... tallied 28 total tackles (17 solo and 11 assisted)... tied for team lead with 5.0 TFLs and 1.5 sacks... made five solo tackles in season-opener vs. Grove City... recorded 1.5 TFLs in win over Bethany... made six tackles vs. Washington & Jefferson... had a monster game in win over Waynesburg, recording nine tackles, 3.5 TFLs and 1.5 sacks while breaking up a pass.

2019: Honorable All-PAC selection... led Bearcats with 63 tackles (46 solo/17 assisted)... tied for team lead with 10.5 tackles for loss... led team with 3.5 quarterback sacks... Forced two fumbles, recovered one fumble and made one interception..recorded six tackles, 1.5 TFL and recovered a fumble in season-opener vs. Ithaca... made five tackles and forced a fumble in week two vs. Westminster... made seven tackles, including a solo sack, vs. Geneva... recorded seven tackles and s sack against Thiel... tallied five tackles, including 2.0 TFLs and a solo sack, against Case Western Reserve... made seven tackles, with 1.5 TFLs, vs. Waynesburg... made five tackles and forced a fumble against Grove City... recorded 2.0 TFLs and intercepted a pass against Bethany. 

2018:  Played in nine games, recording four tackles on special teams.  Blocked a kick against Carnegie Mellon on September 22.  Returned a punt for 18 yards in the same game.  

2017: Appeared in seven games during the season, tallying six tackles. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three year member of the football team at Central HS.  Also wrestled for two seasons.  Served as a team captain for football.

PERSONAL:  Son of Jon and Terra Gartmann... graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminology, law and society... pursuing M.S. in criminology.
