Casey Goff

Goff was named Saint Vincent's head football coach on January 14, 2025.

Goff brings 20-plus years of football coaching experience, including head coaching experience to Saint Vincent. He was most recently a collegiate head coach at The College of New Jersey from 2017-2023. Goff began his coaching career at Muhlenberg.

In his time at TCNJ, he compiled over 20 wins, serving as the Lions co-special teams coordinator in addition to his head coaching duties. In 2023, the coaching staff led by Goff was named NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year, compiling a 5-5 record, which was the program’s best record in 11 years.

In that same year, Goff helped 12 TCNJ players to earn All-Conference honors, the most for the program in 12 years. The veteran head coach also helped grow the Lions roster from 75 student athletes to 100-plus during his tenure as the head coach.

Prior to TCNJ, Goff was also the head coach at Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio for the 2016 season. Under Goff’s leadership at Defiance, the Yellow Jackets earned five wins, the most wins for the program since 2011. During that season, Defiance ranked top ten nationally in multiple different categories, including ranking second in the nation in turnovers under a defense led by Goff. He also coached the first ever woman to play and score in a Defiance College football game.

Goff is no stranger to the Presidents Athletic Conference. He took his first college coordinators position at Washington and Jefferson in 2007, after being hired as the Presidents co-defensive coordinator/defensive line coach.

As a defensive assistant with the Presidents, he helped lead the Presidents’ defense to rank first in the PAC in total defense and five other defensive categories. Also, during his tenure at W&J, the Presidents ranked in the top 25 nationally in four defensive categories, including seventh in the NCAA in sacks. The Presidents qualified for the NCAA Playoffs in all three of Goff’s years at W&J.

Goff made two stops after W&J, first at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and then at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, serving as a defensive assistant at both stops.

At King’s College, Goff was the defensive coordinator, helping three student athletes to All-Conference honors, while serving as the main recruiting coordinator for Central and Northeastern PA, along with Northern New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

He was also the defensive coordinator at Salve Regina, helping lead the Seahawks to the 2013 NEFC Conference Championship game, as well as the ECAC Northeast Bowl Championship victory. Goff helped lead 11 Salve Regina student athletes to All-Conference selections, as well as four All-American selections as well.

Goff also made stops during his coaching career at Rhodes, Cortland State, and Muhlenberg.

During his playing career, Goff was a standout football player at Susquehanna University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2000. At Susquehanna, he was a three-year letter winner at outside linebacker/defensive line. He helped lead the River Hawks to a MAC Commonwealth League Championship in 1999 and was a recipient of the Coaches Award that year as well.

After leaving TCNJ, he went on to become the head coach at Brooke High School last fall.

Goff is committed to holding a high standard for student athlete success on the field and in the classroom.

Goff is a native of Montrose, Pennsylvania, while he currently resides in Bloomingdale, Ohio with his wife Jaimie, son, Braddock and daughter Braylynn.
