Cortney Roberts enters his third season as the quarterbacks coach, after initially joining the Saint Vincent coaching staff in 2016.
Before coming to Saint Vincent, Coach Roberts spent the two seasons at Division III Grinnell College, where he served various roles on the coaching staff, including quarterbacks' coach and special teams coordinator in 2015. Roberts helped both areas improve, including pushing the special teams to the top of the conference in punt average, average yards per punt and kick return touchdowns.
In his first season with the Pioneers, Roberts was the running backs' coach. Roberts also played a vital role in recruiting at Grinnell.
He graduated from the University of West Alabama in 2012 with a degree in athletic training. After graduating, he became a national certified athletic trainer before going to Austin Peay State University to be an intern athletic trainer for one year.
