Phil Bokovitz joined the Saint Vincent coaching staff in early 2014 and is the Special Teams Coordinator and the Linebackers coach.
 
Before joining the Bearcats’ staff, he served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, John Carroll, helping with the offensive line and tight ends.
 
He was a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Blue Streaks, appearing in 36 games from 2007-10. As a senior in 2010, he was named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference, Second Team All-Ohio by OhioCollegeFootball.com and Third-Team All-Great Lakes Region by D3football.com after making the move from tackle to guard.
 
That season, Bokovitz helped anchor an offensive line that helped John Carroll finish second in the OAC in rushing yards. Following the season, he was chosen to play in two post-season all-star games, the Ohio National Guard’s North vs South Senior Bowl and the Tazon de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars) in Mexico City.
 
After graduating from John Carroll with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education in 2011, Bokovitz spent a season on the staff at Eastlake North High School in Ohio where the team finished the season with an 8-2 record.
