Saint Vincent College

Sam London III was named offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator in December 2023, and brings a wealth of coaching experience and expertise with him to Saint Vincent College. 

Prior to his tenure at Saint Vincent, he spent three seasons at Waynesburg University, where he held multiple roles including associate head coach, recruiting coordinator, and coach for running backs and tight ends. During his time there, London played a pivotal role in shaping the Yellow Jackets' offense, contributing to their fourth-place ranking in the PAC for total offense with an average of 326.9 yards per game. Under his guidance, Waynesburg's rushing attack thrived, averaging 150.8 yards per game and scoring 16 touchdowns. Notably, London fostered the development of standout rushers such as Zane Cawley and Justin Flack, who both ranked among the top rushers in the PAC.

Before his tenure at Waynesburg University, London served as the head coach at J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Prior to that, he honed his skills at Division II Lincoln University from 2015 to 2019 as Co-offensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator & special teams coordinator. There, he specialized in recruiting coordination, special teams coaching, and mentoring running backs and tight ends.

London's coaching journey began at Division II Cheyney University, where he coached running backs, special teams, offensive tackles, and tight ends while overseeing recruiting efforts. His coaching career commenced at Capital Christian High School in Sacramento, California, where he worked with running backs and defensive backs.

A former football player himself, London played at Millersville University before serving in the United States Air Force, including deployment in Iraq. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University and recently graduated from Concordia University with a Master of Education in Athletic Administration.

Originally from eastern Pennsylvania, London graduated from Coatesville High School, where he distinguished himself on the gridiron, earning recognition with invitations to the 2003 Valor Bowl and the esteemed Big 33 All-Star Game.

Off the field, London finds joy in family life, being happily married to his wife, Stephanie, and proud father to two sons, Samuel IV and Joshua.
