Biography

2015: Played in all 10 games and was a key contributor in the Bearcats' secondary. Totaled a career-high 31 tackles and racked up six passes defended. Hauled in an interception and also recorded a sack. Served as a punt returner, returning seven punts for 48 yards. 

2014:  Appeared in all 10 games and had three interceptions, including two against Grove City on 9/27.  Forced and recovered a fumble against Waynesburg on 9/13.  Tallied 27 tackles for the season, 21 solo. Had six solo tackles against Carnegie Mellon on 10/25.

2013: Appeared in 8 games as a freshman. Recorded 15 tackles. Forced one fumble.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Competed in football and wrestling.  Was named All-Conference in both sports.

PERSONAL:  Son of Darrell and Andrea Burrell.  Majoring in marketing at SVC.
