2024: Played in three games his sophomore season... Tallied four total tackles, including two solo tackles, over the course of the year. 

2023: Played in one game for the Bearcats during his freshman season... made his first collegiate tackle in the season opener against Washington and Jefferson on September 2.

Graduate of Windber Area High School... two-sport athlete at Windber competing in football and track & field... in football, he was a four-year varsity letterman, a Ken Lantzy All-Star, the 2022 SAFCA Defensive MVP, a 2022 All-Conference player, and named All-Area Honorable Mention by the Tribune democrat... also a two-year varsity letterman on the track & field team under Head Coach March Murchie... academically, he was a four-year member on the academic honor roll as well... son of Barry and Lisa Hostetler, majoring in business management.
