Biography

2013:  Appeared in all 10 games, mainly serving as the team's punter.  Punted 72 times for a 33.9 average with 8 inside the 20-yard line.  Rushed once for 17 yards.  Was 1-for-2 in field goal attempts, connecting on a 37-yarder against Thiel College.  Increased his kickoff average by more than 2 yards to 53.9 with a career-high three touchbacks.  

2012:  Appeared in all 10 games, going 3-for-5 on field goal attempts.  Converted a 36-yarder against Thomas More on October 27.  Was 13-for-16 on PATs.  Scored 22 points on the season.  Also punted 22 times with an average of 37.1, with a long of 54.  Named team's Special Teams Player of the Year. 

2011: Appeared in 11 games as a freshman... Was five for eight on field goals with a long of 38 yards... Kicked the game-winning field goal at Waynesburg in the final second of the game (10-29)... Led the team in total points with 43.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Competed in football, soccer and baseball.  Named All-WPIAL All-Star in both football and baseball.  Two-time All-Conference selection in football, and MVP of the soccer team.

PERSONAL:  Son of Chris and Don Porter, majoring in business management.
