Saint Vincent College

2019: Named All-PAC First Team on defense. Started all 16 games as a junior. Picked up 33 ground balls and forced 14 turnovers for the year. Tallied a season-high five ground balls on the road against Bethany on April 10. In a road contest against Baldwin Wallace on February 27, he corralled four ground balls and causing two turnovers.Member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll.

2018: Saw action in all 19 games as a sophomore. Picked up 21 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers during the season. Tallied a season-high four ground balls in a road contest at Hood College on March 10. Recorded three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a win at La Roche in the season opener. Member of the ECAC Academic Honor Roll. 

2017: Appeared in 14 games during his freshman season. Caused seven turnovers and added six ground ball pickups. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport athlete at North Allegheny High School, competing in lacrosse and football for the Tigers. Was named MSA Player of the Month for May 2016. Served as team captain of the first NA lacrosse team to win the first WPIAL title in school history. 

PERSONAL: Son of Ray Abbondanza and the late Joan Abbondanza. Majoring in Finance and minoring in Operational Excellence.
