Graduate of Hempfield Area High School... four-year member of the lacrosse team at Hempfield... earned three varsity letters, was a Senior All-Star, and earned First Team All-Section on defense during his senior year... academically, he was on the highest honor roll each quarter of his high school career... he was also a member of the National Honors Society, Math National Honors Society, French National Honors Society, and was in the top ten percent of his class each year of high school... son of Steve and Beth Murphy, majoring in engineering.
