Graduate of Red Land High School... four-year varsity letterman under head coach Dave Heisey... also a New Balance All-American, Pre/Mid-Season All Star selection, All-Conference Second Team, and ranked second in the Commonwealth... son of Rick and Angel Friend, majoring in engineering.
