Diron Duah joined the Saint Vincent men's soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2022.
Duah spent the past two seasons as assistant coach at his alma mater, Mount Aloysius College, where he also played for three seasons under Davis. Duah was part of a coaching staff that led the Mounties to the 2021 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship.
"Diron is, without a doubt, the best leader I have ever had the pleasure to coach," Davis said. "His ability to connect, inspire and lead his teammates is unparalleled, and our players will greatly benefit from Diron being on our staff."
Duah returned to Mount Aloysius after a two-year playing career split between teams in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and the Premier Development League (PDL). He spent 2019 with Atlantic City FC of the NCSL after playing for the PDL's Ocean City Nor'easters in 2018. He has also served time as an assistant coach at Montour High School in suburban Pittsburgh.
During his playing career in a Mountie uniform, Duah was a two-year team captain and helped lead the Mount to the 2015 AMCC championship, earning All-AMCC honors. A native of Accra, Ghana, he spent his first collegiate season at York College (N.Y.), where he scored four goals and ranked among national leaders with 10 assists.
At Saint Vincent, Duah will assist Davis in all aspects of the program, including serving as the program's goalkeeper coach.
