Biography
2023-24: Named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team during his senior campaign... compiled a 5-1 overall record and 1-1 in PAC singles play... also went 2-0 in doubles play as well... played the majority of singles play in the number five and six positions, going 3-1 in six singles, while also going 2-0 in number five singles.
2022-23: Picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win in No. 5 singles, while also recording a forfeit win in No. 3 doubles in the lone fall match against Pitt-Greensburg (10/8).
2021-22: Posted a 1-2 record in three singles matches ... Participated in one doubles match as well during his sophomore campaign, pairing up with Sam Butler ... Member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll.
2020-21: In his collegiate debut, posted a win against Waynesburg in singles. Member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll.
Two sport athlete at Hempfield Area High School participating in tennis and cross country. Was the secretary in the National Honors Society. A member of the Science National Honors Society. A member of the top five of his class. Received the Wimer Scholarship... son of Nathan and Theresa Novotney... majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Creative Writing.
