2018-19: Set career bests in the 8K for cross country, as well as the 5,000 and 10,000 meters on the track. 

2017-18: Set career bests in the 8K for cross country, as well as the 5,000 and 10,000 meters on the track. Named to the ECAC Honor Roll for the Fall 2017.

2016-17:  Set career bests in 8K XC and in the 3K and 5K on the track.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Was part of 4x800relay champions in county meet as a junior in 2015.  Team won Elk County Championship in 2016.  Finished in the Top 10 in District in XC as a senior and earned trip to PIAAChampionships.  Was a four year-letter winner in track and 3-year letter winner in XC.

PERSONAL:  Son of Robert and Jennifer Mercer, majoring in communication at SVC.
