2023-24: Picked up three wins for the Bearcats during his freshman season... secured one win by pin fall and one by tech fall over the course of the season as well... secured his first collegiate win against Nicholas Byrne of St. John Fisher by pin fall at the 2:15 mark at the W&J Invitational on Nov. 11.

Graduate of Central Mountain High School... two-sport athlete at Central Mountain, competing in wrestling and football... member of the academic High Honor Roll, National Honors Society, and was the Lions Club Student of the Month... son of Matthew and Stacie McDermott... majoring in biology with plans to attend medical school.
