Biography

2018: All-PAC Second Team selection as a senior, earning her fourth all-conference honor. Appeared in 31 games, making 30 starts.  Made nine appearances in the circle, including six starts. Ranked sixth in the PAC in earned run average (2.95). Tossed complete game shutouts against New England College on (March 7) and Washington and Jefferson College (April 21). Recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts against NEC, allowing just three hits in the win over the Pilgrims. Offensively, recorded 11 multi-hit games, including a three-hit performance against Catholic on March 5. Ranked third on the team in batting average (.383), slugging percentage (.500) and doubles (6). 

2017: Earned First Team All-PAC honors for a third straight season. Compiled a .347 batting average with six doubles and 14 RBI. Duerr struck out just two times in 98 at-bats this season. The junior went 6-for-7 in a crucial doubleheader sweep of Waynesburg University on April 24, helping the Bearcats secure a spot in the PAC Tournament for a third straight season. Tallied nine multi-hit games during the season. 

2016: Named All-PAC First Team for a second straight season. Had a .379 batting average with 27 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles. The lefty put together an 11-5 record with a 2.82 earned run average in the circle, serving as the Bearcats second pitcher. She logged 92 innings in the circle, tossing two shutouts and walked just 14 batters. One of her two shutouts was at Thomas More in a 2-0 win on April 2. Named PAC Pitcher of the Week on March 21. 

2015: Named All-PAC First Team and NFCA All-Central Region Third Team as a freshman. Led the PAC in batting average (.480). Also ranked among the top five in the PAC in slugging percentage (.590), on-base percentage (.519), hits (48), RBIs (31) and two-out RBIs (20). Showed a great approach at the plate, only striking out once in 100 at-bats. In the circle, Duerr became a solid reliable starter, putting together a 9-3 record. Only walked seven batters in 80.2 innings of work, the fewest amount of any starter in the PAC. Pitched a complete game shutout in her PAC debut, shutting down the defending PAC champions from W&J. Recognized as PAC Hitter of the Week on April 13.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Named Softball MVP at OLSH for four seasons.

PERSONAL:  Daughter of Barry and Lisa Duerr, majoring in Integrated Science at SVC.
