Biography

2018: Named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team. Member of the PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll. Compiled a .300 batting average, going 12 for 40 at the plate. Tallied 22 runs scored, which was fifth most on the squad. Recorded a team-high four sacrifice bunts. Put together her strongest offensive performance of the season when she went 3-for-4 at Waynesburg on April 8. 

2017: Appeared in all 34 games, making 33 starts in center field. Put together a .315 batting average with 10 runs scored, a triple and five RBI. Went 3-for-4 with a triple in a non-conference victory over local rival Pitt-Greensburg on March 27. 

2016: Named Second-Team All-PAC as a freshman. Had a .348 batting average with 15 runs scored. Was successful on all seven stolen base attempts. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of softball and field hockey at Woodland Hills High School. Earned All-Conference honors in softball her senior year. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tom and Maureen Murphy. Majoring in Criminology, Law and Society at SVC.
