2024: Honorable Mention All-PAC… PAC Academic Honor Roll… CSC Academic All-District… wrapped up stellar four-year career by batting .347 (35-for-101) with two triples, six doubles, 20 RBIs and team-leading 34 runs scored… stole eight bases in nine attempts… struck out just seven times in 121 plate appearances… hit safely in 24 different games, with 11 multi-hit games… went 2-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch, sacrifice fly and run scored against Carthage (March 4)… in doubleheader sweep at Penn St.-DuBois (March 12), went a combined 5-for-8 with a triple, two RBIs and four runs scored… went 5-for-5 with a triple and four RBIs in win over Penn St.-Beaver (March 14)… went 2-for-3 with a walk, stolen base, two RBIs and two runs scored in win over Chatham (March 22)… walked twice and scored three runs in win over Westminster (April 13)… went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored against Allegheny (April 18)… went a combined 5-for-7 with two walks and two runs scored in twinbill at Geneva (April 23)… had four hits, a walk, and run scored in season finale doubleheader against Grove City (April 26).
2023: Earned Academic All-District honors by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) ... started all 38 games in the leadoff position for the Bearcats ... hit .328 with one home run, 11 RBI's, and a team-best 36 runs scored ... was second on the team in on-base percentage with a .393 percentage ... singled, walked, drove in a run and stole a base in season-opening win over Rivier (March 5)... went 2-for-4 with a run scored in victory over Concordia-Moorhead (March 6)... smacked leadoff home run as part of 2-for-4 performance vs. Bluffton (March 7)... went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored in win over Concordia-Chicago (March 7)... against Penn St.-DuBois (March 21), walked three times, stole a base and scored a run in the opener before doubling and scoring a run in the nightcap (March 21)… went 1-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and two runs scored in win over Juniata (March 22)… had three hits, four runs scored and four stolen bases in doubleheader sweep of Franciscan (March 28)… went 2-for-4 with an RBI, stolen base and two runs scored in win over La Roche (March 30)… went 3-for-3 with an RBI and four runs scored in win over Bethany (April 2)… in opener at W&J (April 4), went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored, before going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored in game two… notched the 100th hit of her career in win at Pitt-Greensburg (April 5), where she finished 2-for-2 with a double, walk, stolen base and three runs scored.
2022: Named All-PAC Second Team ... Started in all 34 games as a sophomore .... third in the PAC in both Batting Average (.460) and Hits (57) ... Hit 11 doubles, which was good for second in the PAC, and drove in 24 RBI's which was tied for third in the conference ... Started the season with eight straight multi-hit games ... Went 3-4 with four RBI's and two triples in the first game of the season against Penn St.-Greater Allegheny on March 5 ... Named to COSIDA Academic All-District and PAC Academic Honor Roll teams.
2021: Played in 22 games, with 19 starts... batted .281 (16-for-57) with two doubles, one home run and 11 RBIs... scored 10 runs... turned in five multi-hit games, including 3-for-4 effort against Waynesburg (4/20) in which she doubled and scored three runs... went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored against Bethany 3/27).named to PAC Academic Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three sport athlete at local Hempfield High School, competing in softball, basketball and volleyball... Three-time WPIAL Champion and two-time PIAA Champion in softball... Western PA Big 56 Honorable Mention during her junior year... two-time member of the Westmoreland County Teen Sports Team of the Year and member of the 2017 Westmoreland County Team of the Decade... First Team (2019) and Second Team (2018) All-Section selection for volleyball and team captain for basketball.... Westmoreland County 2020 Excellence Award for Top Female Scholar-Athlete and Chaffin Luhana Scholar Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mark and Kim Persin... also spent two seasons on the Bearcat volleyball team... 2022-23 president of Saint Vincent Student Government Association... majoring in mathematics, computer science and data science.
