Biography

2019: In her freshman season, Gurneal played in 45 games with 43 starts and hit for an average of .283. Drove in 23 runs while scoring 26 runs on 36 hits with three doubles and two triples. In a victory over Bethany on April 28, Gurneal went 2-4 from the plate with two runs and three RBI. Named PAC Rookie of the Week on March 4.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of softball at Wilmington Area High School. Found success playing for the Greyhounds, helping the team to a regional championship as a senior in 2018. Earned MVP honors and was listed as an All-Star. 
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Richard and Annette Gurneal.
