Biography


2020-21:  Named All-AMCC Second Team after finishing with an overall average of 187.1, third highest in the conference.  Averaged 194.6 in traditional games.  Finished second in the AMCC in strike percentage (43.6) and first in the percentage of first shots that scored 9 or a strike, at 68.1%.  Earned her 8th Conference Player of the Week award, for the week ending March 15, averaging 206.5 in traditional games.  Was named a winner of the college's Albert DeLuca Award for athletics, and served as team captain for the third straight year.

2019-20:  Named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference First Team for the second straight year.  Finished second in the statistics, which combined the two round of AMCC conference play.  Averaged 191, and led the conference with a strike percentage of 48.2. Was especially strong in Baker games, averaging 206.9.  Two-time AMCC Player of the Week honoree.  Led the team in strike percentage for the season, at 41.3.

2018-19:  Named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, after finishing the season ranked #1 in the conference in the Player Composite Performance Index.  Led the conference in 19 of 34 statistical categories, including overall scoring average (191.2), Baker scoring average (19.88), strike percentage (43.8%) and Baker 10th frame scoring average (19.3).  Struck in 48.6% of her frames in Baker competition, tops in the AMCC.  Was a 5-time AMCC Player of the Week.  Named Tournament MVP of the Br. Pat Lacey Memorial for the second year in a row.  Named to the All-Tournament Team at the AMCC Championships, and in the Florida Shore Collegiate Classic.  Posted a school-record single-day Baker average with a 24.0 in the AMCC Round-Robin (February 3).  Including NCAA and USBC scores, averaged 20.06 in Baker frames for the season.

2017-18:  Earned Tournament MVP honors at the Muskie Mash and the Br. Patrick Lacey Memorial.  In the Muskingum Tournament, had a 5-game total of 973.  At the Lacey Memorial, finished with 981.  Set school records for high game (244 vs UPB, 2-18-18), high 2-game series (395 vs Ursuline, 2-11-18) and 5-game series (996, Red Flash Invitational).  Finished 7th in the Red Flash Invitational against D-I and D-II competition, and finished 7th in the Norse Collegiate Classic.  Was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Medaille Invitational with a Baker average of 18.2 over 106 frames.  Finished the season with a NCAA individual average of 188.3, and an average of 193.2 in USBC matches.  Combined, finished at 189.9 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-time Bright House Bowler of the Year, 2-time Florida Today Bowler of the Year.  Four-year All-Cape Coast Conference selection and four-time Team MVP.  Finished second in Florida state individual championship as a senior, and was part of a team that finished 5th in the state.  Team was District Champions twice and individually was district runner-up once.  Finished in the top 8 in state singles tournament as a junior.

PERSONAL:  Daughter of Keith and Marlena Braun-Koehler, majoring in Engineering Science with a minor in Mathematics at SVC.  Younger sisters Jackie and Monique are freshmen on the SVC team in 2020-21.
