Biography

2025-26:  Earned All-AMCC Second Team honors, finishing the year with an average of 185.8.  Threw strikes on 39.9% of her throws for the year, with a makeable spare percentage of 78.5.  Averaged 192.2 in ITC Nationals in April.  Named AMCC Player of the Week for the week ending November 16, after averaging 206.7 in the AMCC Round Robin tournament.  For the weekend, she threw strikes on 58% of her shots.  Finished second in Traditional play among all bowlers in the Hilbert Hammer Classic (Nov 22) and was named to the All-Tournament Team with a 193.2 average.  Landed in 28th place among more than 240 bowlers in the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational with an average of 191 (Dec 18-19).  Shot a 245 game against Penn State-Behrend (2/1).

2024-25:  Finished the season with an average of 185.4, with a strike percentage of 36.6 and a makeable spare percentage of 80.6.  Named to the All-Tournament Team at an Ohio Bowling Conference event (October 19), finishing fourth overall with an average of 209.  Threw strikes on 51% of her shots for the day (25-for-49).  Led the team with a 212.4 average in the Unicorn Classic (Nov 10), and averaged 203.4 in day two of the Collegiate Shoot-Out (Dec 21).  Finished 6th in the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic (Jan 11) with an average of 195 including a 234 game.  In the Wildcat D2/D3 Invitational, averaged 197.7, and was 10-for-10 shooting 7-pins on the tournament's second day.  Averaged 230 in Baker games in the NCAA National Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL:  A graduate of Littlestown High School, Kaylie has won events on the Storm Mid-Atlantic Junior Bowlers Tour, and was their 2022 Female Bowler of the Year. She is a Maryland State Pepsi Tournament Champion, Maryland State USBC Star of Tomorrow recipient, and has qualified and competed at Junior Gold multiple times.

PERSONAL:  The daughter of Rob and Jaime Kurland, Kaylie is majoring in Business Administration at SVC.
