Biography
2022-23: Returned for "victory lap" season as a Graduate Student, finishing the season with a combined NCAA/USBC average of 175.7, a career best. Served as Team Co-Captain.
2021-22: Two-time AMCC Player of the Week honoree. For the week ending 11/13, she posted a per-frame average of 19.33 to lead the field at the Unicorn Invitational. She threw strikes on 50 percent of her shots and also picked up a tough 4-6-9-10 split to help the Bearcats to a 4-1 record. For the week ending 1/23, she led the Bearcats in a Baker dual match against Pitt-Greensburg, averaging 20.93 (a game equivalent of 209.3). The total included strikes on her final two shots of the day, which were not counted in her final totals as an incomplete frame. She threw strikes on 62.5% of her shots and converted all but one spare on the afternoon. Finished the season with an NCAA average of 175.9 and a 36.5 strike percentage.
2020-21: Named to the NCBCA Scholar-Athlete team for the third consecutive year. Averaged 145.8 in traditional games.
2019-20: Earned Scholar-Athlete honor from the National College Bowling Coaches Association for the second straight season. Averaged 160.6 for the season, while again being one of the most accurate spare-shooters in the conference.
2018-19: Finished her freshman season with an overall traditional average of 166.3, including a high game of 204 set on 3/22 in the AMCC Championships against Mount Aloysius. Finished second in the conference in single-pin spare percentage in traditional games, 88.9%, and was 11th in the AMCC overall in spare percentage in traditional games (60.9%). Earned Scholar-Athlete honor from the National College Bowling Coaches Association.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-sport athlete at Butler Area HS, competing in bowling and tennis. Bowled in the anchor position for Butler under Coach Bob Cupp, helping her team to a 30-0 regular season record her senior year. Team won the Western PA Interscholastic Bowling League (WPIBL) championship, and the Western PA Regional championship, before finishing 4th in the state tournament. Named to the All-State team and had the high game of the tournament, 299. Earned a trip to the state bowling tournament as an individual in both 2017 and 2018, and was named MVP of her WPIBL section as a junior.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Early Childhood Education at SVC.
