Biography
2023-24: Earned AMCC Third Team honors, finishing the season with an average of 174.5. Finished second on the team in strike percentage (37.9). Named to the All-Tournament Team with a 3rd place finish in an American Heartland Tournament (10/29/23), averaging 207.7 over four games.
2022-23: Earned All-AMCC First Team honors for the second straight season after finishing second in the conference in scoring in AMCC events. Finished the season with an overall average of 177.7 in NCAA/USBC events combined. Named Tournament MVP at the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic (1/14/23), with a four-game total of 800 (average of 200). Had a high game of 222 in the event. Recorded a 224 game in the Ohio Bowling Conference event on 11/19/22. Named AMCC Player of the Week for the week ending January 15. Finished second in the Br. Pat Lacey Memorial Tournament with an average of 200.8, including a high game of 254, earning AMCC Player of the Week for the week ending 2/12/23.
2021-22: Named All-AMCC First Team. Led all bowlers in the two AMCC Round Robin tournaments in scoring, which included a 203.3 average in the February tournament held in Bradford. Named AMCC Player of the Week for the week ending February 7. Finished the season with an average of 174.9 in NCAA events.
2020-21: Earned a place in the starting lineup as a freshman, finishing with an average of 166.8, 13th best in the conference. Had an overall strike percentage of 37.2, eighth-best in the AMCC, and was third overall in single-pin spare percentage (87.1%). Ended the year ranked #8 in the conference's overall player ratings, the Player Composite Performance Index.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2020 graduate of Rockledge High School, where she was named Florida Today’s Girls Bowler of the Year as a senior, and finished in the top-8 in the Florida State High School Singles Championship. Was also named Team MVP as a senior, and her team finished in the top-5 all four seasons in the state tournament.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Keith and Marlena Braun-Koehler, majoring in Communication at SVC. Twin sister Jackie is also a member of the SVC team.
