Ashley Shasko

Ashley Shasko enters her fifth season as head coach for the women's soccer program in 2018. 

She was named head coach of the program in the summer of 2014. She helped SVC to a six win improvement from the 2014 to 2015 season, helping claim a fifth place finish to just narrowly miss out on PAC Tournament play.

During the first four seasons, nine Bearcats have earned All-PAC recognition during Shasko's tenure. 

Shasko, a 2007 graduate from SVC, was a four-year starter during her playing days, anchoring the defense for a team that had 39 wins and earned a berth in the American Mideast Conference playoffs three consecutive seasons (2003-05) followed by an ECAC playoff appearance in 2006.

She tallied three goals and 16 assists in her collegiate career, and played nearly 5,700 minutes over four seasons. She served as team captain for the Bearcats during both her junior and senior seasons.

After graduating from Slippery Rock University in 2010 with an Master's of Science in Sports Management, Shasko took the helm of the Greensburg Central Catholic high school girls' team, guiding them to four consecutive section championships. During her high school coaching career, Shasko had amassed a record of 81-9, earning two state championships and two WPIAL championships.
