Graduate of Chartiers Valley High School... two-sport athlete at Chartiers Valley, competing in swimming and tennis... was a four-year varsity letterman on the Chartiers Valley swim team under head coach Morgan Soulia... member of the National Honors Society as well as the Math Honors Society in high school... daughter of Jason and Christy Thiel, majoring in economics... also a member of the Saint Vincent women's tennis team.
