Biography

2017: Played in 31 games, 30 of which were starts. Recorded career-highs in hits (36), doubles (8) and RBI (21). Hit his first collegiate home run in a victory over Geneva College. Led the Bearcats in hits with 36. 

2016: Saw action in 31 games, making 29 starts. Put together a career-best .303 batting average, while scoring 17 runs and tallying 10 runs batted in. Had a stretch of 10 consecutive official at-bats with a hit. 

2015: Appeared in 22 games making 15 starts as a sophomore. Batted .289, recording 13 hits and scoring 9 runs. 

2014: Batted .273 as a freshman, appearing in 8 games with 2 starts.  Had 1 double and one stolen base.  

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played four years of baseball and two seasons each of soccer and golf at Quaker Valley HS.  Earned three varsity letters in baseball and two in golf.  

PERSONAL:  Son of Thomas and Lorrie Kuny, majoring in criminology.
