Jason Mamros joined the Saint Vincent women's bowling coaching staff for the 2017-18 season.
Mamros serves as a volunteer assistant.
A native of Leechburg, PA, Mamros has been bowling since age 7, when he and SVC head coach Jeff Zidek began bowling together in junior leagues. They continue to bowl as teammates, decades later.
Mamros is a graduate of Robert Morris University, where he was a three-year member of the men's bowling team.
He has been coaching in the Lee's Lanes youth program since 2011 and has worked several area coaching clinics. He has also worked with more than 75 adults from beginners to high average bowlers.
Mamros has seven career 300 games and six 800+ series. He has won numerous singles and doubles events in his career, including USBC Kittanning Association tournaments. Over the past 10 years, he has consistently averaged over 220.
