Saint Vincent College

Noah Aftanas was promoted to Director of Athletic Communications in January 2025. He previously served as an Athletic Communications Assistant from 2022-2024, before being promoted to his current position.
 
Aftanas graduated from Saint Vincent College in 2021 with a degree in Communication. He is currently enrolled in Saint Vincent’s Master of Science in Management: Operational Excellence (MSMOE) master’s program.
 
Noah worked as an athletic communications work study during his time as a student, completing an internship with the SVC Athletic Department during the spring of 2021. During his time within the SVC Athletic Department, he broadcasted games, helped with recaps and website maintenance, compiled live stats for games, etc.
 
Aftanas has been a freelance sportswriter for the Latrobe Bulletin newspaper since the spring of 2021. In his time with the bulletin, he has covered all local high school sports for Latrobe, Ligonier Valley, and Derry. He also covered collegiate sports, writing articles for Saint Vincent football and men’s and women’s basketball.
 
Aftanas is a native of New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
