Saint Vincent College freshman Sean Cain became the first wrestler in Bearcat program history to win a Presidents' Athletic Conference title, as he won the 125-pound championship on Friday at Washington & Jefferson. Cain opened his evening with a win by fall in 1:28, before clinching the PAC title with a 15-8 decision in the championship bout. It was the first of three individual PAC titles won by the Bearcats, who were crowned the 2024 PAC wrestling champions in their first season as a program since 1975.
