Saint Vincent junior guard Emily Cavacini led the Bearcat women's basketball team to three wins and the Presidents' Athletic Conference title. Over the three games in the PAC Tournament, Cavacini averaged 16.3 points, while going a perfect 14-for-14 from the foul line and dishing eight assists. In SVC's quarterfinal win over Bethany, Cavacini recorded 16 points, four rebounds and four assists, before going for 11 points and two assists in the quarterfinal victory over Westminster. In the PAC Championship Game against Chatham, Cavacini scored a game-high 22 points, going 8-for-8 from the foul line. to lead the Bearcats to a comeback victory and a trip to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament. Cavacini was named the MVP of the PAC Championship Tournament.Â
