Over Saint Vincent's spring break trip to Florida, freshman Kiley Meek led the pitching staff, going 2-1 with a 1.33 ERA in three starts and 21.0 innings. On Sunday against Concordia-Moorhead, Meek earned the complete game victory in her first collegiate start, allowing one run on just six hits with four strikeouts. On Tuesday against Bluffton, Meek again worked 6.0 innings, allowing just three earned runs with two strikeouts, before she threw her first career complete game shutout in Friday's extra-inning win over Wheaton.Meek needed just 88 pitches to throw the 8.0-inning shutout, scattering six hits with just one walk.
