The Lady Bearcat swimmers saw their two-meet winning streak snapped with a 128-113 defeat to Westminster College at the Resnik Pool.

Saint Vincent was able to capture a pair of first-place finishes on the day, beginning with the opening event, the 400 Medley Relay, won by Lady Bearcat foursome of Katie Custer, Jess Kennedy, Christine Dunleavy, and Maggie Dempsey.

Kennedy also earned SVC's second victory of the day, taking first in the 50 Freestyle, while she was part of SVC's second-place 400 Freestyle Relay squad, along with Custer, Dempsey, and Amanda Haile.

Jayna Cline turned in second-place times in the 1000 and 500 Freestyle, while the Lady Bearcats' Sarah Denning took third place in both the 100 and 200 Back.  Dunleavy took third in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke,  while Custer finished third in both the 100 and 200 Butterfly.

The Lady Bearcats (3-6) will return to action next Saturday, traveling to Pittsburgh's Chatham University to take part in a tri-meet with the host Cougars along with Penn State-Altoona.
