The Saint Vincent women's tennis team got the 2011 season off to a fine start, defeating visiting Waynesburg University 9-0 on the SVC courts. 

In singles play, SVC swept all six matches in straight sets.  Morgan Dolinar, Stephanie Rubin, Jessica McKetta, Jessa Paruch, Kylie Auman and Danielle Van Devere earned wins.

The doubles teams of Rubin/Emily Morris, Alexis Cup/Janelle Giunta and Van Devere/Regina Woloshun all won their matches as well.

The match was an official match, but was termed an exhibition and will not count in the conference standings.  SVC and Waynesburg will meet again later in the season in Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
