LATROBE (Jan. 25) - Saint Vincent captured a sweep of Penn State-Altoona in non-conference swimming action at the Resnik Pool.

The Bearcat women were victorious, 112-35, while the men posted a 92-52 victory.

In the women's race, freshman Paige Pecora earned the win in the 100 free with a time of 56.72 and junior Katie Custer touched the wall in 1:02.55 to win the 100 butterfly.

Freshman Molly McCloskey claimed first place in the 500 freestyle in 5:49.42 and classmate Sarah Robbins sprinted to the win in the 50 freestyle in 25.94.

On the men's side, sophomore Sam Cline boasted a time of 10:53.05 in the 1000 freestyle to win the event. Classmate Matt Linebaugh earned the victory in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.95.

The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, Jan. 28, hosting Westminster in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at 1 p.m.
