FULL RESULTS
The Saint Vincent swimming teams lost to Washington & Jefferson on the road by scores of 159-114 (women) and 156-116 (men).
SVC men won a total of five events during the meet while the women took home first-place finishes in three events.
Freshman
Joe Woodman set a new school record in the 1000 freestyle, winning the event with a time of 10:24.17. Woodman also posted a win in the 500 free, touching the wall in 4:59.68.
Freshman
Zach Ligus claimed first place in the 100 free with a time of 49.26 while classmate
Andy Moog won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.73. Senior
Dan Kostovny was victorious in the 200 breast, finishing in 2:23.30.
On the women's side, junior
Katie Custer won two events at the dual meet. In the 50 free she finished in 25.35 and in the 100 free she won with a time of 55.28. Senior
Christine Dunleavy secured the third win for SVC in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:10.66.
SVC returns to action this week, hosting Bethany in PAC action at the Resnik Pool on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 1 p.m.
