BOX SCORE

In a match that took nearly four hours to complete, Saint Vincent defeated NCAA Division II crosstown rival Seton Hill University by a score of 5-4.

The outcome of the night came down to a third set in the #4 singles position.  After SVC's Regina Woloshun won the first set, 6-4, the Griffins' Michelle Vawter won the second, also by a 6-4 tally.

In the deciding third set, Woloshun was victorious by a 6-3 score, securing the win for the Bearcats.

Seton Hill led after doubles, 2-1, winning in the #1 and #3 positions.  The lone SVC victory was by the duo of Kylie Auman and Woloshun.

Jacquelyn Hauser, Maria Gismondi and Hannah Kahn were straight-set winners in singles, tying the match, 4-4, setting up the third-set tiebreaker between Woloshun and Vawter.

With the victory in the non-conference match, SVC finishes the fall season at 11-5, and prepares for this weekend's Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship, which will take place Friday and Saturday in Erie, PA.
