FULL RESULTS
The Bearcat swimming teams lost on the road to the University of Mount Union. The women lost by a score of 143-119 while the men lost 154-101.
Paige Pecora earned the first SVC victory of the day, capturing the 200 Free in a time of 2:02.34.
Alyssa Taylor later won the 200 Fly in 2:18.00, while teammate
Sarah Robbins was second (2:25.07).
Marissa Frollo was a clear winner in the 50 Free, timed in 24.81, nearly a full second ahead of second place Pecora (25.74). Pecora later came back and won her second event of the day, the 100 Free, in 56.02, while
Alexis Ferraco was second in 56.62.
Taylor took top honors in the 500 Free in 5:33.51. Frollo then won her second event of the day, hitting the wall first in the 100 Fly in 1:02.63, with Robbins finishing second (1:03.20).
In relays, SVC won the 200 Free in 1:41.02. The team was made up of Pecora, Ferraco, Robbins and Frollo.
For the men,
Xander Emili captured the 200 Fly in 2:03.06, the Bearcats' lone victory of the evening.
On Thursday, SVC begins a three-day meet at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
