The Saint Vincent women's tennis team earned a 7-2 win over Washington & Jefferson in the opening match of Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
SVC won all three doubles matches and four of six in singles to record the win in a match held at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
Amanda Gans and Jacquelyn Hauser were winners in #1 doubles, 9-7, in a close set.
Kylie Auman and
Regina Woloshun were 8-5 winners at #2 doubles, while
Maria Gismondi and
Breana Liberoni captured their #3 doubles set, 8-2.
Gans, Hauser, Auman and
Hannah Kahn were winners in singles as well as the Bearcats improved to 2-2 overall on the year, 1-0 in the PAC.
