The Saint Vincent women's tennis team defeated Chatham University by a score of 8-1 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play, then returned later in the afternoon for a 7-2 win over Thiel in a pair of matches held on the SVC Courts.

Against Chatham, SVC won at the #2 and #3 doubles positions.  The #1 doubles match was suspended with Saint Vincent leading, 3-0, due to an injury to a Chatham player.

In singles, after a walkover in the #1 position, SVC captured four additional matches to earn the 8-1 win.

Two-time winners in the match were Kylie Auman and Regina Woloshun, as they teamed for a win at #2 doubles and won their #2 and #3 singles matches, respectively.

In the Thiel match, Jacquelyn Hauser, Auman and Woloshun each were two-time winners as SVC earned a 7-2 victory.

Two singles matches went to a tiebreaker.

Woloshun had to go to a tiebreaker to earn her victory.  After winning the first set 6-2, she lost the second set, 6-3 before winning the tiebreaker by a 10-8 margin.

Sarah Selip, making her collegiate debut for the Bearcats, won the first set 7-6 before falling in a tough 7-6 second set.  In the tiebreaker, Thiel's Nicole Carlton won, 10-5.

Saint Vincent is now 4-2 overall, 3-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.  The team will next face Waynesburg University on Wednesday afternoon on the road in Greene County.
