In a closely contested Presidents' Athletic Conference match, the Saint Vincent women's tennis team lost by a score of 5-4 to rival Grove City College.

In the #1 doubles match, Amanda Gans and Jacquelyn Hauser lost a tough 9-8 set.

Kylie Auman and Regina Woloshun earned the only SVC doubles win, 8-5 in the #2 match.

In singles, Gans, Hauser and Auman all won in straight sets.

The match came down to the final pairing on the court, the #6 match between Julie Becker of Grove City and Hannah Kahn of Saint Vincent. Becker won the first set, 6-4, but Kahn fought back to win the second, 6-2, sending it to a tiebreaker. Becker won the tiebreaker 10-5.

Saint Vincent is now 5-1 in the conference. Next up will be Westminster College on the SVC Courts on Homecoming Day this Saturday at 11AM.
