FULL RESULTS

The SVC women's swimming team lost to Grove City College by a score of 152-118 on the road in Mercer County.

The team finished second in the opening event, the 200 medley relay, as Jess Smrekar, Alexis Ferraco, Marissa Frollo and Paige Pecora were timed in 1:55.29.

Freshman Marla Turk earned her first collegiate win in the 1000 free, timed in 11:41.36, more than 7 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor.  

Smrekar finished second in the 100 back (1:04.57), while Kristina Boburka was second in the 100 breast in 1:16.94.  Later in the day, Smrekar was second in the 200 back in 2:19.88.

In the 50 free, Frollo was second in 25.39, then finished third in the 100 free in 57.14, just 1/100 ahead of teammate Sarah Robbins.

The 400 free relay team of Ferraco, Pecora, Robbins and Frollo finished second in 3:48.32.
